Making mental healthcare accessible to rural communities across Karnataka. Creating healthier communities through care, compassion, and technology.

Our Vision

To make quality mental healthcare accessible, affordable and inclusive for rural communities across Karnataka, with a special focus on women, children and underserved populations.

Project Maanasi envisions a future where mental healthcare is not limited by geography, stigma or lack of resources. By strengthening community-based care and integrating mental health with primary healthcare, we aim to create a sustainable model that can reach millions of people across rural India.

Our Mission

Improve access to mental healthcare in rural communities. Integrate mental health services with primary healthcare. Focus on early identification, screening, counselling, treatment and follow-up. Strengthen the role of community health workers in mental healthcare delivery. Give special attention to the mental health needs of women and children. Use technology through eMaanasi to support screening, patient records, follow-up and continuity of care. Reduce stigma and increase awareness about mental health within communities.
